          Unfortunately, he soon deviated towards criminal activities. Lakdawala’s first brush with crime was in 1993, when he was 22.

          Born in Jogeshwari, the now year-old Lakdawala found trouble at an early age.

          He was accused of killing one Haren Mehta after an altercation at a cricket match.

          Lakdawala spent two years in Arthur Road Jail, but was eventually acquitted in 1995. Those two years changed his life.
